            Hobart Buffalo Chopper

A buffalo chopper is ideal for processing meats, vegetables, fruits, and more into Deli delisalads, sausage, cole slaw, and dips! Designed with toughness and versatility in mind, this heavy-duty food processor can help you add new items to your menu with its impressive skillset and various attachment options (sold separately).

Tex_77 I would take that in a heart beat. And it is good for chopped beef, pork and chicken. Many BBQ shops around here do just that for their sandwiches. And you can hook it up to a #12 meat grinder or a pelican processor. Very versatile

for that price you could put a couple hundred in it and still double or triple your investment on a resale

Tex_77 it’s even 115V, practically in your back yard, even accepting offers!
That said it looks like it’s been out of action for a while.
I would really check it out first, maybe figure out how to test it under some kind of load
Pretty big for a paper weight 😀

make a few inquires about the model to the manufacture and availability of parts and service for it and expected value ask if it works

Tex_77 Some quick searches and I doubt you will find a grinder attachment, but as Johnathan pointed out I think you can process the meat with the cutter to get the consistency you would with a grinder. Instead of using a plate for the particle size I’m guessing processing time would dictate size/consistency. I have always wanted one after having to manually chop 60 butts for a fund raiser. It would make cured sausage easy too. I’m telling ya I would buy one for a $100 today if I found one. Those people clearly have no idea what they have.

This is the first one that came up on my search. Mind that price tag.

Tex_77 Yeah there isn’t an attachment that will turn this into a traditional “grinder” but you can use it as such. Okay, I think we have enough people on here now that either have or have interest in a buffalo chopper that it is time for a meatgistics university: Meat Processing Equipment video/article. Give me a week and I will try to get it done, edited and live. Luckily for you my interest has been piqued and I BADLY need a break from what I have been doing.
