Tex_77 that’s a great way to kick off pizza week! I have leftover sauce from a pizza experiment (spaghetti squash crust) the other day. I might have to make the real deal this week!

Joe Hell Go for it! My toppings weren’t as fancy as what you used on your last pizza experiment. I have ground beef seasoned with Italian seasoning, mild ground Italian sausage, Canadian Bacon, pepperoni, bell pepper, red onion, and mushrooms.

Tex_77 Those look great man! Was the dough store bought or did you make it from flour and yeast?

I ask because Austin and I have debated what makes a true “homemade” pizza before and I feel like this is where my main advantage will be!

Jonathon It was homemade, just got it off some random website. I’ve decided I need a wood peel, because the dough sticks too much to my metal peel when trying to put it in the oven.

Jonathon It is still homemade if you have to stretch the dough…

Austin Where do you guys buy premade dough at? I assume you aren’t talking about the dough that comes in the cardboard canisters?

Tex_77 Last couple times, I’ve bought from Trader Joes. Their fresh dough is pretty good.

Austin Well that’s sounds fancy, I haven’t been in Wichita since they have opened. I think you might be able to buy dough at Papa Murphy’s.

Tex_77 It’s nothing, crazy, but I want to say it is $1.50 or $1.99, and a solid/easy option.
I’ll have to try papa murphy’s sometime. I’d probably take their dough and make a stuffed pizza…their stuffed pizzas are amazing!
