tarp It won’t be until 5 so it shouldn’t interfere with AM hunters but those looking for the early evening doves will porbably miss out! We totally understand but this was the only reasonable time that Austin and I could do this. If anyone has any questions that they want answered let us know on this post! We will go over them and then the livestream can be watched on our youtube page after it has finished.

Jonathon An early question for the live stream on Sunday. Can you touch on small diameter sheep natural casing tips for snack sticks. Maybe I’m the only one that struggles with getting them on the stuffer horn. Thanks

Dave R You say horn, are you using a sausage stuffer to stuff or are you using a grinder? I only ask because getting smaller diameter casings onto a horn (which is what it is called for when you use a grinder) can be impossible depending on the make and model of your grinder but if you are using a stuffer the stuffing tube should be super simple.

Let me know and I will have something set up to show you. I’d recommend you use smoked collagen casings though if possible.

Jonathon I use a 1/2" stuffing tube with Walton’s 21 mm collagen casings for most of my snack sticks and it’s easy. I get challenged using small diameter natural sheep casings for snack sticks and wieners. It seems like I fight getting them on the tube. I even tried the natural casings on the “tube or straw”. I still struggled, so I’m wondering if there is a couple tricks you could share. Thanks Dave
