Just dehydrated some cut tomatoes. These will be great later this winter when there’s nothing but Hot House ,no taste tomatoes, around. It takes a lot of them. I like them on a sandwich with some good homemade meats.t3.jpg You can add them to stews, anything you would add can tomatoes to. tomatoes.jpg T1.jpg t2.jpg

tarp Awesome! I bought the Weston dehydrator for that exact purpose. I plan to do as much canning and preserving this year as possible. I have a feeling that I am going to have far too many tomatoes and peppers than I know what to do with! The garden is going nuts right now!

craigrice I haven’t but I bet it’s delicious! I’ve managed to avoid corn, rice, beans, bread or potatoes (with few exceptions) since October 9, 2017…yes, I have been counting the days. lol. I used to love making street corn salad each summer. Oh yeah…no tortillas either. I could eat tacos for every meal if it wasn’t for the carbs.

Last night I had my first swig of beer in almost 6 months. It was like nectar sent from heaven. I’ve been thinking about it all day! I was working on a design project for a friend that required a beer. I had to invite a friend over to drink it so I wouldn’t finish the whole thing! He had to nearly pry it from my hands. Lol

craigrice We can anything that the garden produces to much of (if that’s possible)LOL I gave my neighbor some of my sweet Hot jalapenos, later he called and said his tongue was slapping his eye balls cause they are so good. Ha
Just made a small batch of deer sausage with the Walton’s Cajun unit mix. Will post some of it in the next days or so.
