JoeB I saw some pretty old school looking helmets on your mantle, was that a ferman ww2 helmet in the middle? It looks like the one Sgt Schultz wears in Hogans Heroes.

Jonathon Your right about the helmet, but a bit confused… Gave you a thumbs up, but it showed a thumbs down… I have never used the thumbs down not ever since signing up for the site… So to make it clear thumbs up Jonathon

This is almost like tequila but it’s not, pretty good to me. But I also enjoy tequilas served neat.

Not as smooth as the 1870 Original Batch but decent, gonna be one I’d pour on the rocks.

I have now stepped it up to the big boy proof, it really doesn’t drink as high as the proof says it is. I’ve had the small batch 1792 which I think isn’t very good at all.

glen It is tasty, but I have to do the lemonade & as many of the other things that I can, homemade. hard to do a peach though unless you could find a good ol NEHI Peach!

zbigjeff It is made from a desert plant, so it’s closer to tequila but since it’s not made from the agave plant nor made in the Tequila region of Mexico it can’t be classified as such. There are some tequila similarities I can taste but it’s still very different at the same time.
