Tex_77 The Russell’s 10 year is pretty darn good. I have had another of the William & Green, but I can’t remember why it wasn’t for me.

Best Maid makes some good pickles, how bad can it be if you can actually see seasonings floating around.

Picked up a few new bottles over spring break, and one Bloody Mary Mix I’ve been wanting to try.

We decided that since we still had so much left from the last smoke of Beans, Greens, & BBQ, with a few fresh turnips on the side, that we would hold off until weekend to have our annual Irish Day meal while I am also smoking the Pastrami. I will have a wee dram of Tullamore Dew for the day though, perhaps washed down with a pint of Guiness.

calldoctoday Tullamore DEW has become one of my favorite Irish whiskeys. I’ve already had the Guinness (Xtra Stout) and will most likely make a nice Irish Coffee with some Tullamore before bed. Ill use decaf and it makes the perfect nightcap.

zbigjeff I am going to have to laugh all the way out of this office now. If this keeps up, it is going to require another dram. I have got to go & get me some vittles to soak it all up.

Tex_77 Your choice of Russell’s made me go and get some. I got the 90 proof 10 year old (on sale!). I also got this Union Horse Reserve to try, 92 proof. It’s from Union Horse Distillery in Lenexa, Kansas. It did NOT disappoint. Lived up to it’s taste profile exactly. Russell's.jpg Reserve.jpg

Tex_77 Yeah, I used to buy bottles that came with glasses in my younger days. I actually had a conversation here recently about all those random glasses I have and how I don’t use them anymore. I have found my self using on two types of glasses I have now. Plus if I recycle all those random non matching glasses, I will easily make more room for more bottles!

HerbcoFood I guess they just wanted you to grab a friend, drink the bottle, throw the two glasses out, & buy another bottle.
