Austin …any thoughts on a Tshirt like this? I think its awesome, the only question I have is…could it be seen as disrespectful somehow? I don’t think so, GWG8541 served and doesn’t U-S-Veterans give us an honest opinion on this. Would something like this bother anyone, or does anyone think it would bother someone? Maybe a limited-run shirt?

Jonathon “to stuff a more perfect sausage”
I think it would be more acceptable than “To stuff a more perfect beef bung” -

Jonathon just in case I missed something, are you talking about the Meatgistics preamble? I personally don’t think that would be offensive or disrespectful. I have seen a lot worse and totally disrespectful on shirts, shorts, etc… on folks right here in our own country. That’s the whole reason for freedom of speech, but I understand where you are coming from, it’s not my company’s logo that is going to be attached to it.

Jonathon To clarify, are you referring to a shirt with this language on it?

mrobisr That flows very nicely.

Yeah, that was what I was referring to, something that popped into my mind and we are very patriotic company so I wouldn’t want to do anything that would be seen as “commercializing” the most important Government document ever created!

I’m for it to be printed!

Jonathon speaking sticky for myself, but as a Veteran, I can understand not wanting to commercialize the Constitution and that some could even be offended by that. However, I look at it more as paying homage to that great document. Imitation is the sincerest for of flattery.

Jonathon Thinking the “preamble” was just a sentiment and most likely didn’t think people would take it this far. The “thoughts” behind the statement will be there if made formal or NOT.

As a 23 year retired Army vet there is absolutely nothing offensive about that.

Dr_Pain look at what you started. Good work!
