I don’t think I ever added myself in this thread.

I am a Director at a self-regulatory organization for the US derivatives market - specifically OTC Derivatives (Swaps Dealers). My team is responsible for all system development and project management as well as data analytics and reporting for my department. My department is only 10 or so years old and was formed to implement the regulatory program for Swaps under the Dodd-Frank Act. The company also regulates futures/commodity registrants and also provides regulatory services for some contract markets. My education is Accounting but most of my work experience is in IT development after a start doing Compliance Audit.

Jamieson22 I read your post and even though its a different sector all I can think about are clips from The Big Short.

Its interesting how so many people in this community have such a varied background.

Long haul trucker for 35 years then they started drilling gas wells around my house in PA so I got off the road and spent the next 10 years hauling frack water to fracking gas wells for the gas company’s Now I hunt and fish and make meat sticks…LOL

We send a lot of containment well cellars to PA for drilling. If you have hauled any water to an EQT, Cabot, Southwest Energy, Anadarko, or Chevron pad, you have crossed paths with some of our stuff.

Retired small town Police Chief (30 years) Also own and operate Security business installing security cameras, access control and alarm systems. I had to take early retirement due to medical issues. Now enjoy the forums and making all types of snack sticks, sausage, brats and anything else I can put into a smoker. I just recently finished converting a large commercial refrigerator into a smoker.
