We have Waltons and Meatgistics branded coolers that are 100% made in the USA now available at https://www.waltonsinc.com/waltons-27-quart-taiga-cooler They seem pretty awesome and have both logos on them, I thought they should have been blue but I have the wrong last name!

How many half gallon mason jars can you fit in there? And how loose are they?

HerbcoFood Igloo used to be made in Houston, but something tells me that is no longer the case. The good thing about Igloo 40 years ago, was you could get local parts for them cheap at Academy, the old original Academy when it was just an Army Navy & then a little bit.

calldoctoday Igloo is made just west of Katy. Huge plant there.

RTIC is also made in Houston.

Likely because of the number of local polymer producers like polypropylene and other major components.

Ok but for real, my family gets farm fresh milk. Every week the wife and I drive 20 mins to a farm where we go into the milkhouse and fill 16 or so half gallon mason with milk straight from the bulk tank. (4 jars are for some friends of ours) We load the jars into coolers and these super insulated coolers would be great in the summer. This is actually quite common to sell fresh milk off the farm, but its illegal to advertise raw milk in Wisconsin.

It would be great to have another cooler that the jars would fit in without rattling around. If you develop a bigger cooler, perhaps keep in mind how tightly mason jars would fit.

craigrice Sad indeed. We still get it when we can from a local dairy not too far away, but still a hop & a skip. My Dad & uncle used to deliver farm fresh milk from their farm when they were really young.

HerbcoFood Thanks for correcting that, I was of the impression that they were made right here in Texas based on what a customer service rep told me.
