I am the winner!

Nice! Just a suggestion, get the 10/22 in takedown or tactical with threaded barrel. Apply for you suppressor stamp. When approved get a suppressor for the 10/22. I promise you will have way more fun over the life of the gun shooting the suppressed 10/22 than about any other gun.

Grimpuppy If I had land 100% would do this and I do know someone who just went through setting up the trust for a suppressor but until I have some more land its more valuable to me as a cost reduction on a 6.5 creedmore or 300 so I can get out deer hunting.

The 10/22 is the best little rifle out there!!!

So, I went to the PF/QF banquet last night and won a gun, FINALLY! Now, it was not the gun that I wanted to win but it was the gun that I was able to afford entry into the contest to win! It is a Ruger 10/22 with a synthetic stock, I have to pick it up at Range 54 in Wichita. I am hoping they will be willing to give me at least the majority of the price of the .22 off of something like:

I bought one for my wife, the only problem is I can’t load the four extra clips I bought fast enough for her. I have a gong set up that she just loves to shoot at.

That is the perfect plan!!
If I was going sniper riffle I would not rely on the creedmore ballistics I would go big, like a 338 lapua LOL!!!

Jonathon In my opinion I wouldn’t get the 18" barrel, but just my opinion.
-
good for you xmas came early

I would agree with Jonathon on putting practicality first. That 10/22 would be fun if you could plink regularly, but if you can’t then you should get what you’ll actually use.

Tex_77 You’re toooooooooo much. Great Gif!!!

Congratulations, I won a .223 a couple of years ago!
-
If they wont give you credit you can always add it to the monthly giveaways.
-
I won an over/under at DU banquet, gave it to one of my nephews.
-
If you don’t want it, you can always give it away in the weekly drawing with a bag of tender jerky.

-
My deer rifle and auto load shotgun I use to hunt with were actually both won in raffles.

That is a real good little .22 for target practice & more. I could tell you some stories of other things I have done with them too, but not in our neighborhood & not on someone else’s property in these days & times. You made a great win there to be proud of as I great starter to help keep your skills honed & more.
