Nice! Just a suggestion, get the 10/22 in takedown or tactical with threaded barrel. Apply for you suppressor stamp. When approved get a suppressor for the 10/22. I promise you will have way more fun over the life of the gun shooting the suppressed 10/22 than about any other gun.

Grimpuppy If I had land 100% would do this and I do know someone who just went through setting up the trust for a suppressor but until I have some more land its more valuable to me as a cost reduction on a 6.5 creedmore or 300 so I can get out deer hunting.

Jonathon Awesome! The 10/22 is a very reliable .22 and great for target practice. Grimpuppy sub-sonics out of a non-suppressed .22 are a hoot to shoot also, even more so when suppressed.

So, I went to the PF/QF banquet last night and won a gun, FINALLY! Jonathon Congratulations, if you think your wife would ever think about shooting keep this gun. I bought one for my wife, the only problem is I can’t load the four extra clips I bought fast enough for her. I have a gong set up that she just loves to shoot at.

                  That is the perfect plan!!

If I was going sniper riffle I would not rely on the creedmore ballistics I would go big, like a 338 lapua LOL!!!

Jonathon In my opinion I wouldn’t get the 18" barrel, but just my opinion.

I would agree with Jonathon on putting practicality first. That 10/22 would be fun if you could plink regularly, but if you can’t then you should get what you’ll actually use.

If you don’t want it, you can always give it away in the weekly drawing with a bag of tender jerky. 😉

Jonathon Congratulations! That is a real good little .22 for target practice & more. I could tell you some stories of other things I have done with them too, but not in our neighborhood & not on someone else’s property in these days & times. You made a great win there to be proud of as I great starter to help keep your skills honed & more.
