I was obsessed with it. 2nd, that lady who free dives with them is going to get eaten and then they are going to be mad at the sharks which is idiotic. She thinks she is doing so much for their image but she is risking another back lash beyond anything she can imagine. 3rd…sharks have been found past St Louis, so yeah, don’t feel too comfy swimming in the Mississippi!

Jonathon yeah Bull sharks scare me. They can live in fresh water. Some of them get pretty big too!

Its head is EASILY the size of those people. usually when they say HUGE great white it is like a 12 footer or something but I am guessing that is in the 16 foot range which is really amazing. Here is the difference between an 11 footer and 17.5 footer

bocephus It’s an ok fight, it feels so much different than when you’ve been catching specs all morning which you basically skip across the top of the water when you reel in a smaller one. Then you hook on to a baby shark there is more of a fight.

Would love to try and catch one on a fly rod, my bucket list includes catching pike and musky on fly rod. Hopefully when I get to spend more time in MN i will get this crossed off.

Last time I went fishing in the Gulf (was suppose to fish for Reds) I only caught sand sharks. As a good adopted Cajun I made the best of them and eat those suckers. I AM the apex predator LOL!
