Would anyone be interested in livestreaming Koch and four pilgrims hearings?

We were wondering if people would be interested in us Livestreaming the hearings for the Koch and four pilgrims price-fixing hearings, they are going to make their initial court appearance on August 11th. I don’t even know if we CAN do this, but it might be interesting to watch and learn a little bit more about what they did and what we think it caused.

Its one thing to do some shopping around and see what you competitors are charging, but when you are meeting up at “trade shows” and texting each other its gone to a whole other level

Jonathon I would be interested in listening to the Livestream, but no guarantee where I will be or if I will even have a connection. I will have to settle for the Readers Digest version.

Jonathon Very interesting case. I would be interested in following this. This doesn’t affect everyone, but it does affect me, and given that this is the primary source of protein for many families, it has very long term impacts for many.

Unfortunately this is partly due to us as consumers and our shopping for the lowest costs. The small farm simply cannot come any where near the prices of mass produced products found in the chain stores. This has over time enabled the big chains to consolidate the markets down to a few big players. It was only a mater of time before this would happen. Thankfully, 2020 brought a great awakening to the general public and showed everyone how fragile our supply chains really are. Now we are in a situation where big business has lobbied in regulations that hinder the small meat producer selling products directly to the end consumer.

Jonathon I agree through the book at them, maybe a little time in the iron hotel would give make them all stop and think before their greed takes over.
