deweymeats I have 2 masterbuilts 1, 40 electric and 1, propane that i converted to natural gas. The Electric works fine with as much smoke as you would want. Blue tooth is crapy… Buy a good wireless that will monitor the meat temp and smoker temp probe. Cold weather buy the blanket. The gas is a baby sitting nightmare. My final thought is whatever you pick know how to use it, and it will do well

everyone finds their own favorite type of smoker that they feel comfortable with

craigrice good advice. Bigger and more expensive doesn’t always make better. As an Engineer my overused response is that it’s always broke till you learn how to use it

PapaSop if possible you might consider a conversation to nature gas. Can’t beat it for long 10-12hr cooks. Just a 3/32 drill in the main gas orifice. Get rid of the tank unless you’re main house uses propane

That’s a great thought but, currently renting and that is not an option. Wonder what the rental company would think if I suggested it. Hmm.
