Just for comparison, the stick on the left is from my Traeger and the one on the right is my MES. The case wrinkling is the typical difference between my Traeger and MES. 644584D7-539B-488A-AF13-0788624DD073.jpeg

Here are sausages being done in my Treager. I use my rib rack to keep them higher off the deck and away from the heat. IMG_1177.JPG

I like that. You have a source for that rib rack?

Grimpuppy I bought it from Treager when I bought my smoker. That was quite a few years ago, I’m sure you can still find them.

Grimpuppy That’s the same rack I use in my Traeger. I found mine on E-Bay several years ago at about 2/3 the price that Traeger wanted. I also believe they had 2 different sizes. When I use mine I sometimes will slip a pan of ice cubes under the bottom shelf. This helps keep the early temps lower and later on it will add humidity if needed.

Bob Stehlik They do, BAC349 which is 23x12 and the BAC350 which is what I have is 12x30. If you Google search them you can find them cheaper. Treager doesn’t even have them in stock. Got to look good at the ones on ebay. There’s a BAC350 for $33, but the shipping is $27.00.

I need the smaller on, BAC349 which after searching, is discontinued and out of stock everywhere. There is one on Amazon for $177. Will be passing on that. Will search more later. Not really a need item, just thought it was pretty cool rack.

Grimpuppy I’m sure you could make one out of a couple of cooling or jerky racks and a couple of bricks wrapped in foil. “Improvise, Adapt & Overcome!” Semper Fi !!

Grimpuppy My apologies. I got the original poster and you confused. I guess I wasn’t paying attention to the author of the comment and picture.
