Cure shelf life

I keep all my Walton’s mixes in the freezer inside ziplock bags or plastic jars, the same with the pink cure, double bagged. Is there a suggested use by date?

deweymeats around 2 years for seasonings, probably a little longer for cures.

Keeping the seasonings out of the light, dry and air tight should give you max amount of shelf life. I’ve had 1/2 bags seasonings vacsealed and used 12-16months later and they were just fine.

deweymeats I dont think they will every go bad but Tex_77 is right, 2 years for the seasonings before they start losing their potency and around 3 for the cures. Some cures will harden up though if you don’t store them properly for a few years.
