Nothing to fancy, just some duck and bacon sausage with grilled veggies, Cajun style baked beans and fresh tortillas. Sorry about the poor lighting, one light bulb in the whole camp in the bunk house/tool shed running off the battery.

Jonathon I reheated soup! Lol. Sorry, no pics. I used local kale, celery root, onions, garlic and carrots with a house made spicy beer brat, garbanzo, stewed and puréed tomatoes, chicken bone broth and a bit of lemon juice. Soup is good food!

YooperDog Nothing “FANCY”? Yeah, everyone makes “duck” and “bacon” sausage. You’re a spoiled boy.

Jonathon Free is always good and there is nothing wrong with that. Pound and a half will go well with a nice steak anyway. Enjoy!

Made some pork chops last night, I vacuum tumbled them in Pa’s Black Bull and seasoned with Excalibur’s Pork Roast and Chop rub. Also made some apple slaw to go with it.

Tex_77 I boiught myself a ribeye yesterday and my wife a Strip steak. Hers was a little thicker so they cooked a little differently, but the upside of that was that I got the best crosshatch grill marks on her steak that I have ever gotten! I was using the GMG but I was using the grill grates and man those things are awesome!

Jonathon Nice to have those types of friends. I used to bring home a dozen or 2 when I traveled in the past. We used to have races up and down the driveway while the seasoned water was getting just right. Have fun. They are just really sweet at this time of year.

It’s difficult to keep up with all of your creations. Mine is just a simple deboned chicken thigh, seasoned with homemade Creole Seasoning, stuffed with smoked gouda and wrapped in hickory smoked bacon. 20201114_181117[1].jpg 20201114_181438[1].jpg

Jonathon No, never deboned a whole turkey. But, sounds totally amazing. We all laugh/cry sometimes during the blooper sessions. Then, we “fix it” and the people never really know of all the background imperfections or care about it. They’re just glad that someone else did it because they don’t have the XXX to try. Good for YOU GUYS.
