Jonathon I’ve never seen a tent like that, it looks like a great tent to own.

I bought a white ( white is what you want) form Denver tent co. about 1990 it was fire resistant, light weight, and had a chimney hole made of fire proof material. It was a 14x16 with 5 foot walls, came with a water proof floor canvas. It was great! We used it in 2 foot snows had our little wood stove in it and we stayed plenty warm. best part was it provided lot of light being white. Sold it after 20yrs, and it is still being used.I would go get used carpet from a store and make a floor, we could walk around barefooted ,lol.

tarp I looked at Denver Tent company they are pretty proud of there stuff. I had thought about a wall tent, but I think a Bell tent will be a lot quicker and easier setup. Getting some carpet cut to fit for the floor doesn’t sound like a bad idea, other then it would be a pain to pack up and move around.

Tex_77 Check Out Kifaru. The have Some Tipi Style tents that are super light but very durable and you can run a small stove. There packs are top notch as well! Packed out a bunch of deer with them!

Cabelas90 Now that I see they are in Colorado, I have bought through them before, but it was years ago. I bought a bunch of PMAGS from them when they couldn’t be found, and they were still selling them at regular price.

I know we have a lot of hunters on this site. Do any of you have canvas bell tents? If so what brand, what has your experience been with them? Also if you use a camp stove in them what kind do you use?

Tex_77 i am 5 elk seasons into my Davis 14 x 16 wall tent. I’ve been in very hard winds and 16” of snow. I got no complaints.

lkrfletcher Nice, pretty similar square footage. I think I remember looking at Davis tents, I don’t recall them offering a bell tent.

Cabelas90 Well does my wife count!?! I plan to use this for truck camping, etc. It’s def. not going into the backwoods without a good mule, horse, or ATV. It might get used during holidays to hide from family as well…

Finally got good cold weather and no wind, so got to do some hot camping with my camp chef stove!

Tex_77 that looks like a great set up! I have a 10×10 wall tent that I use a wood stove in. I haven’t had it set up for a long time. I need to get back to it!
