Soluble Pa's Black Bull versus PRIME BRISKET INJECTION

Has anyone here used both of these? If so was there a clear preference? ? Are they the same with different names?
I have only used SPG rub. thinking of adding one of these to my brisket Thanks

winter I’ve never done the Prime Brisket Injection but I think I know someone who has. I will check with them and see what they say

winter Talked to someone here who has used both, says the prime brisket injection adds a nice beefy flavor and is similar to our prime rib rub and the Pa’s will give you that but also has sweet notes and other flavors as well. I will say that the Pa’s brisket I did lat year was called the best brisket ever by the late, great Don Walton! Perhaps the best compliment I have ever received here!

I would agree with Jonathon, the Prime Brisket Injection, assuming you mean the one from Butcher BBQ will just add a beefy flavor to the meat as well as moisture, you won’t get some of the added sweetness that the Pa’s will give it. I don’t think you can go wrong either way.

Thanks for the information. I ended buying both, the Pa’s black bull soluble and the butcher bbq Prime brisket injection . I smoked a brisket with SPGR rub and Pa’s black bull soluble injected. at this point i’m not sure it can be improved on. it is excellent!! now i’m not sure i want to try the prime injection… lol

winter let us know once you use the other product. What would really be cool is if you smoked both side by side for the ultimate review. I’ve used the butchers bbq pork and chicken products but I dont care for brisket that much so I rarely smoke them, so I’ll be curious of your opinion.

I did smoke another brisket last week. I used SPGR rub and the BBQ prime brisket injection. it was just as good as the Pa’s but has a more beefy flavor as tex77 mentioned. you cant go wrong using either one.
