Will it BBQ? French Bread! In this segment we pose the question and the answer to Will it BBQ? So much more than just hamburgers, hot dogs, and other meats can be BBQ'd, Grilled, or Smoked. And, this is where we try out unique ideas for cooking on a grill or smoker. This week we are BBQ'ing French Bread and letting you know if it will BBQ or not! Prep Time 5 Minutes Cook Time 60 Minutes Ingredients 1 loaf of French Bread Butter to Taste Cinnamon Toast Shake Bloody Mary Wing Shake Butter Garlic Rub Utensils Needed PK 100 Smoker Instructions Set your smoker to 120° or as low as it will go, cut your loaf in half length wise and smoke for one hour. You can use whatever wood chips you want but we chose apple for this as it has a nice flavor without being overpowering. We are going to spread on some butter after taking it out of the smoker and then sprinkle on some Bloody Mary Wing Shake on a slice, Butter Garlic Rub on another and Cinnamon Toast Shake on the last. We chose these seasonings as they each will go well with both bread and butter but you could choose whatever seasoning you like the best. So, Will it BBQ? Even if the bread doesn’t pick up a lot of smoke we are in for a treat as bread, butter and seasoning is always going to be good. We didn’t need to worry though as the bread picked up a lot of smoke all by itself. I could smell it as soon as I brought it out of the smoker, the bread soaked up the smoke more than I would have thought and adding butter and some well chosen seasonings just put the icing on the cake. This was a huge yes, I will be making this again for sure! Shop Walton’s for Seasoning Shakers Broil King S420 Regal Grill Pain is Good Salsa

Will it BBQ? Peanut Butter! In this segment we pose the question and the answer to Will it BBQ? So much more than just hamburgers, hot dogs, and other meats can be BBQ'd, Grilled, or Smoked. And, this is where we try out unique ideas for cooking on a grill or smoker. This week we are BBQ'ing Peanut Butter and letting you know if it will BBQ or not! Prep Time 5 Minutes Cook Time 60 Minutes Ingredients 16 oz Peanut Butter 16 oz Fluff or Marshmellow Spread 2 pieces of sandwich bread Utensils Needed PK 100 Smoker Instructions Empty your peanut butter jar, or however much you want to smoke (a serving of peanut butter is generally a little over an ounce) into a foil pan. Set your smoker to somewhere around 120° and smoke for 1 hour. Since the PK 100 does not have humidity control I am adding a bowl of water to keep some moisture in the chamber. I decided that the best way to try this would be with a favorite sandwich of mine as a kid, we called them Fluffernutters but some people apparently call them Peanut Butter and Fluff Sandwiches but that name is so incredibly boring that I almost fell asleep while typing it. Once your peanut butter is smoked spread the desired amount onto a piece of bread and then spread the desired amount of fluff on the other piece, close the sandwich and enjoy! Since we smoked almost the entire jar I just put the leftover amount back in the jar when we were done so now we have smoked Peanut Butter for whenever we want it! So, Will it BBQ? We decided to make one sandwich out of the smoked peanut butter and one made from normal peanut butter so we could have something to compare it to and it was a good thing we did it this way as the first taste did not bring up a ton of smoke, however after comparing it to the regular sandwich I realized that the peanut butter had picked up smoke but it was more subtle than I had expected. I love this type of sandwich that I was going to be happy with this no matter what but I do think the smoky peanut butter added something to it! So, in the end this was a yes it will BBQ! Will it BBQ? Donuts! In this segment we pose the question and the answer to Will it BBQ? So much more than just hamburgers, hot dogs, and other meats can be BBQ'd, Grilled, or Smoked. And, this is where we try out unique ideas for cooking on a grill or smoker. This week we are BBQ'ing Donuts and letting you know if it will BBQ or not! Prep Time 20 Minutes Cook Time 60 Minutes Ingredients Glazed Donuts Cake Donuts Pinch(es) of Hickory Smoke Powder Powdered Sugar Cinnamon Toast Shake Instructions We BBQ'd two different ways. With the donuts that had a glaze on them we put those in a pan and put them in the smoker over low heat for an hour. We also used cake donuts and we made our own glaze with hickory smoked powder to drizzle over them. To make the glaze take a few ounces of water, some powdered sugar and a pinch of hickory smoke powder at a time until you achieve the smoke level you want The drizzle version we did not put on the BBQ. Before you eat these add some [Cinnamon Toast Shake](https://www.waltonsinc.com/cinnamon-toast) to make them even better! So, Will it BBQ? For the two donuts we actually put in the smoker the one with bacon on it was far better because the bacon was able to pick up more smoke flavor, that was a definitely yes it will BBQ. The one without bacon did not have any smoke flavor to it. We think this is because the glaze melted all off of the donut and that is what picked up the smoke flavor. For the cake donuts, they were just incredible, such an interesting mix of the sweetness from the sugar, the smoke from the hickory smoke powder and just a great donut flavor! This will BBQ for sure and will be done again…and again and again! So if you are thinking of trying a smoked donut I would recommend buying plain cake flavored donuts and making a smoky drizzle using water, powdered sugar, hickory smoke powder and then topping it off with some Cinnamon Toast Shake. I’ll have to give the balsamic g&h jam a try, but I think there are a bunch of other interesting options… you could try something much more “traditional” like nutmeg or cinnamon… or stretch the possibilities with a lil cumin… BUT… I’m more curious to just try a lil naked smoked watermelon…

Will it BBQ? Eggplant! In this segment we pose the question and the answer to Will it BBQ? So much more than just hamburgers, hot dogs, and other meats can be BBQ'd, Grilled, or Smoked. And, this is where we try out unique ideas for cooking on a grill or smoker. This week we are BBQ'ing Eggplant and letting you know if it will BBQ or not!! Prep Time 5 Minutes Cook Time 10 Minutes Ingredients Eggplant Authentic Greek Seasoning Instructions Slice your eggplant into rings and season both sides with Authentic Greek Seasoning or any other seasoning that you want to try. Heat your grill up to around 400° and grill for 5 minutes a side or to desired level of doneness. So, Will it BBQ? We aren’t the biggest vegetable fans here, we like them but almost all of us will reach for some sort of meat first. Even with that, this was very good! We liked that the Eggplant had a decent texture and took on the seasoning well. This is a good way to get your veggies in for anyone who doesn’t normally eat enough of them! So, YES this will BBQ! Will it BBQ? Alfredo Sauce! In this segment we pose the question and the answer to Will it BBQ? So much more than just hamburgers, hot dogs, and other meats can be BBQ'd, Grilled, or Smoked. And, this is where we try out unique ideas for cooking on a grill or smoker. This week we are BBQ'ing Alfredo Sauce and letting you know if it will BBQ or not! Prep Time 10 Minutes Cook Time 2 1/2 Hours Ingredients 1 Box of Penne Pasta Can of Alfredo Sauce Instructions Empty your jar of Alfredo Sauce into a foil pan, or other pan that you don't mind putting in the smoker, and smoke at low heat for 2 /12 hours. You could probably get away with 1 1/2 hours and still pick up a decent amount of smoke. Boil your pasta and add the sauce to it once you are done smoking it. So, Will it BBQ? Pasta is not something that I thought to try smoking but now that we have done the baked ziti and this I am going to try more! This will certainly BBQ! The Alfredo Sauce picked up a good amount of smoke and it goes very well with the creamy taste of the sauce, I will definitely be doing this one again! And, this is where we try out unique ideas for cooking on a grill or smoker. This week we are BBQ'ing Pineapple and letting you know if it will BBQ or not! Prep Time 10 Minutes Cook Time 10 Minutes Ingredients 1 Pineapple Excalibur’s Cinnamon Toast Shake Utensils Needed Pineapple Corer Instructions Core your Pineapple, or slice it and remove the core if you don't have a corer, then cut it so they can lay flat on the grill. Sprinkle both sides of the Pineapple with Excalibur's Cinnamon Toast Shake and cook 5 minutes a side over high heat on your grill. Take off and serve warm. So, Will it BBQ? The grill is quickly becoming my favorite place to make dessert dishes because this was amazing! Don’t be fooled if your slices look dry when they come off of the grill, as soon as you bite into it you will know what we were talking about when we said it exploded! Will it BBQ? Peach Cobbler! In this segment we pose the question and the answer to Will it BBQ? So much more than just hamburgers, hot dogs, and other meats can be BBQ'd, Grilled, or Smoked. And, this is where we try out unique ideas for cooking on a grill or smoker. This week we are BBQ'ing Peach Cobbler and letting you know if it will BBQ or not!! Prep Time 15 Minutes Cook Time 45 Minutes Ingredients 1 large can of peaches 1 box of plain white cake mix 2 sticks of butter Excalibur Cinnamon Toast Shake Instructions Take a large foil pan, or any pan you are okay with putting on the grill, and empty your can of peaches into the bottom of that. Take your cake mix and sprinkle that on top of the peaches, making sure that the cake mix gets down into the spaces between the peaches. Cut your butter into slices about 1/2 " thick and lay them evenly across the top of the cake mix. Finally sprinkle with Excalibur's Cinnamon Toast Shake seasoning, use as much, or as little as you want but we added a lot because it works so well with any type of dessert dish. So, Will it BBQ? Most people do not think of the grill as something that typically produces desserts but they should! This was a dangerously delicious treat, the peaches, cake mix, butter and Cinnamon Toast Shake all went together beautifully and the hint of smoke that it picked up was a nice counterpoint to all that sweetness. So YES this will BBQ! Shop Walton’s for Cinnamon Toast Shake PK 100 Smokehouse Terrapin Ridge Hot Pepper Jam

Will it BBQ? Ketchup! In this segment we pose the question and the answer to Will it BBQ? So much more than just hamburgers, hot dogs, and other meats can be BBQ'd, Grilled, or Smoked. And, this is where we try out unique ideas for cooking on a grill or smoker. This week we are BBQ'ing Ketchup and letting you know if it will BBQ or not! Prep Time 5 Minutes Cook Time 60 Minutes Ingredients Bottled Ketchup Utensils Needed Smoker Instructions Empty Ketchup bottle into a foil pan or a pot of some sort that you don't mind ruining. You want to try to spread it as thin in the pan to allow as much of the Ketchup to be exposed to the smoke as possible as the smoke will only penetrate the Ketchup about 1/8" of an inch. Smoked at 150° for 1 hour over your choice of wood, we chose apple wood chips. So, Will it BBQ? There are so many different types of mustard but not really many specialty Ketchups and now we know that this is a huge mistake on the condiment makers part! This picked up an excellent amount of smoke and it would be amazing on hamburgers, hotdogs or anything else you want to add even more of a grilled flavor to! Will it BBQ? Mustard! In this segment we pose the question and the answer to Will it BBQ? So much more than just hamburgers, hot dogs, and other meats can be BBQ'd, Grilled, or Smoked. And, this is where we try out unique ideas for cooking on a grill or smoker. This week we are BBQ'ing Mustard and letting you know if it will BBQ or not! Prep Time 5 Minutes Cook Time 60 Minutes Ingredients Yellow Mustard Spicy Brown Mustard Utensils Needed Smoker Instructions Empty the contents of your mustard bottle into a shallow pan or pot you don't mind putting in a smoker. Try to spread it out thin so that as much of the mustard is exposed to the air as possible. The smoke will only penetrate about 1/8 of an inch past the surface so expose all you can to the smoke. So, Will it BBQ? There are all sorts of varieties of specialty mustard available, Dijon, Spicy Brown, Honey, the list goes on and on, however rarely if ever do you see smoked mustard and that is a shame because this was awesome! We spread it on some cheese, salami and crackers and it was wonderful! Both the spicy and the regular get an absolute YES on the question Will it BBQ? @raider2119 We did Stuffed Jalapenos here but wrapped them in prosciutto instead of bacon and they were amazing! That’s been a few years though and we did not do any video on them so maybe it is time to try them again, with a test to see if they will freeze or not. My thought is that they will, the bacon or whatever we use will probably get soggy but I’ll check this out and hopefully will have a video in a few weeks. Thanks for the suggestion!

Will it BBQ? ! In this segment we pose the question and the answer to Will it BBQ? So much more than just hamburgers, hot dogs, and other meats can be BBQ'd, Grilled, or Smoked. And, this is where we try out unique ideas for cooking on a grill or smoker. This week we are BBQ'ing Avocado and letting you know if it will BBQ or not!! Prep Time 10 Minutes Cook Time 30 Minutes Ingredients 2 Avocados, Medium Sized 1 package of Bacon 18 oz of Chorizo 4 oz of cheese of choice Utensils Needed Tongs or Heat Gloves Knives Instructions Split the avocado and remove the pit, then carefully remove the skin and fill the hole where the pit was with a cheese of your choice and close the avocado back up. Lay out some chorizo flat on a clean surface and roll the avocado in it so the entire avocado is covered and then wrap that in bacon! Now be very careful when you place this on the grill as it will want to come apart, the fats from the Chorizo and the Bacon will not adhere well to the outside of the Avocado so the bacon wrap must be tight to keep everything in place. Grill at 375 for about 30 minutes or until Chorizo and Bacon have reached desired level of doneness! Take off and slice and serve hot! So, Will it BBQ? We went a little “mad scientist” on this one and tossed everything but the kitchen sink at it. It was noted when we were done that since Avocados are already high in fat this was a fat (the cheese) inside of a fat (the avocado) wrapped in fat (Chorizo is high in fat) wrapped in fat (Bacon is obviously fatty) but even for the hell this probably put our arteries through it was well worth it as this was incredibly savory! This will most certainly BBQ, it was an incredibly tasty creation that was as fun to eat as it was to make! Shop Walton’s for Chorizo Seasoning An Avocado "Egg" Chorizo Seasoning

Will it BBQ? Grilled Cheese! In this segment we pose the question and the answer to Will it BBQ? So much more than just hamburgers, hot dogs, and other meats can be BBQ'd, Grilled, or Smoked. And, this is where we try out unique ideas for cooking on a grill or smoker. This week we are BBQ'ing Grilled Cheese and letting you know if it will BBQ or not!! Prep Time 10 minutes Cook Time 5 minutes Ingredients 2 slices of arteson bread Mozzarella Cheese Havarti Cheese Smoked Cheddar Butter Provolone Garlic Romano Wing Shake Instructions Butter the side of the bread that will be face down on the grill. Havarti is a great choice here as it melts perfectly. Put half the cheese you want to use on each slice of bread so you can grill them as an open-faced sandwich with the buttered side facing down. This will allow the cheese to melt easier and prevent you from having to flip the sandwich. Before you put it on the grill sprinkle some Garlic Romano Wing Shake onto the cheese, this really goes perfectly with a grilled cheese sandwich. Grill for about 5-7 minutes at 450 degrees or until the bread has a nice golden brown to it. Take it off of the grill and serve warm! So, Will it BBQ? You should make your next grilled cheese because it will certainly BBQ! This was a great tasting Grilled Cheese sandwich, probably the best I have ever had. It picked up just a little bit of the smoke but it was not overpowering at all. The addition of the garlic romano and the havarti made this an amazing treat! As an added bonus, the cleanup was very simple! Shop Walton’s for Garlic Romano Wing Shake Shop Walton’s for Grilling Mesh Basket Delicious Grilled Cheese! Ready to Eat!

Will it BBQ? Pizza! In this segment we pose the question and the answer to Will it BBQ? So much more than just hamburgers, hot dogs, and other meats can be BBQ'd, Grilled, or Smoked. And, this is where we try out unique ideas for cooking on a grill or smoker. This week we are BBQ'ing Pizza and letting you know if it will BBQ or not!! Prep Time 15 Minutes (Grill to Heat up) Cook Time 15 Minutes Ingredients 1 frozen Pizza of your choosing 1 Shaker of Garlic Romano Wing Shake Utensils Needed Pizza Stone Pizza Peel Instructions To start grilling our pizza, we need to turn the grill up to about 400 to 425 degrees and throw a Black Olive pizza stone onto the grill and let it heat up. Once we are up to temp, we will slide our frozen pizza onto the stone and it will cook for about 15 minutes and then we'll pull it off and see if it BBQs or not. So, Will it BBQ? We just pulled the pizza off of the Black Olive and cut it into slices… And Will it BBQ? Yes it will! The pizza has a fantastic smoke flavor from the Black Olive which really complements the pulled pork on this particular pizza, and the Garlic Romano seasoning from Excalibur Seasoning was a great addition as well! I really love how easy it was to cook pizza on the Black Olive. It’s super simple and clean up is even easier. So next time you are looking for something new to BBQ or grill, try your favorite frozen pizza! Shop Walton’s for Garlic Romano Wing Shake Just off the grill! Ready to Eat!
