Hi Bee Man, Glad to see your second hobby. Snakes and bees, you gotta luv em. Since I quit working for a living years ago, I now have a real job. Running about 300 boxes on gallberry. All I want to mess with at this time. Bees, model trains (O gauge) and piddling in the garden makes me a happy camper.

How To Make Homemade Snack SticksHi Guys, I’m still in the hunt for a affordable smoker that will fit into wallet. You folks are the best at follow up. Thanks to all of you. I do have an idea and a direction for my temporary smoker. Will investigate further tomorrow. My best regards Tommy

My other passionHi Jonathon, BK84 is 100% correct on his evaluation of CCD and V. mites. I learned about 2 years ago how to get both somewhat under control. You gotta be your queen breeders’ best friend I only bring in this best of the best queens and monitor brood rearing for about 6 weeks. Also we sample for mites bi monthly. We try to use only the very best Queens from my breeder. Yeah, I got mites but their under control.
BK84, I had the same problem with my sugar dealer. Went to Sams and told them I made Moonshine and and needed 50 20 lb. bags. Everything was OK. They loaded and I was on my way. My Bees were surprised to get good clean syrup. They said thank you. -
New Groups to Help Everyone on SmokersVery good suggestions, all of us can benefit, whether we’re trying to improve our tech nicks or looking at a WTB (want to buy). Smokin Tex.

How To Make Homemade Snack SticksThanks J. I notice this during the cool down period after the ice bath. I’m thinking along the same lines. Maybe I’m adding to much cold H2O during my mixing. Next batch we’ll cut back on the added water.
Thanks again
