processhead Lol, you actually had me going with the you are right to be concerned, then got a good laugh out of me with the sharks BUT I wouldn’t put it past sharks to try to team up with a land animal. Use the land animal to get us into the water!

A mountain lion was videoed in some one’s backyard, they caught it as it was jumping the fence into the next yard.

Wolvers are an interesting one in my mind. My initial response to seeing that image is “oh no! a do!” but then I stop and think about it, take my bias out of the way and I 100% agree that they need to be managed. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t celebrate when reading Tex_77 Meat Matters post about the shipment of dogs getting stopped being sent to Korea or China to be eaten. Zero issues with cats because I’m not a cat person but I can see where cat people might have an issue with Mountain Lion hunting. You just have to get past that, realize that they are a wild animal that needs to be managed.

Jonathon You are right about management, if it wasn’t for hunting and fishing there would be no money available for all the cost of managing fish and animals.

bocephus Wow, that’s a bigun. If you had not have told us & not seeing the head, I would have about thought that was a cougar. We used to have one of those Mexican Mountain Lions/Black Cougars running around our place in Texas years ago, they can be frightful. The Bobcats though are usually not that big of a deal, but yours is big & healthy. Is the other video Monrovia California? If it is, wow again, because I am sure Monrovia has probably been eaten alive by LA now & that would be no place for Bobcats to be in the mix.
