What keeps me up at night
-
Tex_77 or gators around here.

Don’t watch the video it will not help your fear at all.
-
Tex_77 now that you said that he won’t be noodling any time soon.

mrobisr Yeah…too late for that. As soon as I heard there was a video I pretty much had to watch it. Not great. Also, I almost went noodling and then someone showed me an x-ray of what happens when there is a beaver instead of a fish so…no. Also, we have Aligator Snapping turtles in our pond, I’ve seen those mean SOBs

Rattle snakes, more worried about the dogs getting bit. We take them to a rattlesnake avoidance session when they are young.

System admin worries are a big deal since so much of on line commerce is tied to complex computer systems. When I was working, I did system admin on a computer system that controlled a municipal drinking water system in a medium sized city.
When the system went down and drinking water availability was compromised, people got excited in a bad way. After hours call-outs are something I no longer worry about, but it could be stressful back in the day. -
When my pup scratches her neck at night keeps me up, she does it so aggressively it wakes me up.

Not sure I would swim with shark but being from Louisiana, I do not enter any murky water bodies. I’ll get in the boat but that is it. No swimming, no water skying etc…
Dr_Pain If you have ever been in the salt water of LA you are swimming with shark I promise. Funniest thing ever was the ladies were taking the kids swimming and I went along as security or something I guess, but I went outside the swimming area to fish and caught a couple of small sharks 30" and you want to talk about clearing out the swimming area… the kids would not go back into the water until I did to show them it was ok.
