https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4Cr87-GCxI Has always been my second favorite cash song. Forwhatever reason I woke up and this song was the first thing on my mind.

Favorite is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXt1NIYPNjA if I were a carpenter. Just thought I’d share

Jonathon those are some oldies, I haven’t heard the gunfighter song in a long time. I had the good luck to see them in concert a few times.

I could listen to old country all the time. Cash, Waylon, Willie, Kristofferson, and Robbins but my favorite is the Gentle Giant…Don Williams! Then if you throw in some Chris Ledoux I’m all set.

HerbcoFood I was just getting ready with that one as one of my favorites too for Cash.

“The Last Gunfighter Ballad” I haven’t listened to that in over, well I don’t remember when.

                          Cash has many good ones.

Tex_77 its been a few years since I’ve been to Nashville. Its definitely a fun town, but getting kind of crazy. To many Yankees moving in, and I’m a Yankee. We caught a show at the Ryman the last trip and took the backstage tour after the show. It is a great place to visit if you like anything about country music.

For all you serious country music fans, if you haven’t seen it already, watch the PBS documentary “Country Music” done by Ken Burns. It was educational and entertaining to say the least. I thought I knew a little bit about Country music until I watched it.

HerbcoFood yes, it aired in 2019. If I remember it is 8 episodes that are 2 hours each. I started watching it with my Mom when she was alive. One of those things I’m glad I did for many reasons. Ken Burns does great documentaries. He also did the PBS series on the Civil War.
