Could there be a way to highlight the name of the person who originated a particular topic?
Most cases when someone posts a question, it is easy to get lost in all the other comments. A lot of times a user posts an issue, and then the community asks clarifying questions (which is great, don’t want to hinder that), but there should be a way to clearly identify the owner of the topic throughout the thread. so the rest of the community can make sure all of the concerns from that individual are addressed.

So, we are talking about within the thread, have a tag or something that says something Like THis user posted this thread? less wordy than that obviously but do I have the correct idea? If so, I like it and I can ask NodeBB if they can write that. It doesn’t look like there is anything out there for it already but I am betting this is another thing that they will write for us.

Jonathon Correct, something within the thread that is a way to identify who started the thread. I was thinking something subtle like a highlight around their avatar or username similar to how the “W” shopping button had the red pulsing when that was added. But really whatever is easy and obivous.

Ridley Acres Done, we didnt even need to go out of house for it after all, our Web Coordinator has been learning CSS and she was able to do this!

If people want another color we are open to that, couldn’t come up with anything that was “better” than yellow that we arent using for badges though

Jonathon I was thinking chartreuse, but I guess yellow would be ok.

Ridley Acres This is a great idea; I think it will make it a lot easier to go back and look at the start of the thread.

Have you guys noticed the thumbs up and down is now orange and blue? Austin did that and he made it so Orange is up and Blue is down but I feel like complaining would be petty at this point…I AM sort of Petty though.
