That was really nice of someone to let you hold their bird and take a picture of it!

Tex_77 It was probably Ali Walton’s bird, she was just nice enough to let Jonathan hold it if he would clean it.

It looks like you were hunting some great cover in beautiful country.
A few of us are pheasant/quail hunting in SW Nebraska in a few days. Always a memorable time.
Jonathan your mouth is smiling but the rest of your face is in distress. lol
Pheasant guts will do that to you.

For anyone who didn’t see the livestream yesterday (and thank you guys for joining us, we had a blast) we put up an image of me looking like I am in pain when I am field dressing a pheasant. Here is that image, and a few other ones, note that the 1st one is one of the best Hunters in Kansas, and then Brett the CEO and Taylor our shipping manager! Long time viewers will also recognize Ali Walton (my sister) in one of the pics with Taylor and myself. She made some darn good shots herself!

Jonathon that looks like a great time. I haven’t been bird hunting in two seasons now. I lost my bird dog this year on top of that. I might go Christmas day in the morning though.

Jonathon I’d like to see a picture of the pointing dog that did all the hard work. I had awesome Brittany’s in the old days when I had good knees and never failed to get my limits

Brianzipperdog123 I have had mostly Labs, but did have one Brittany that ruled the roost with three other Labs, one a 95 lb male who would back down when my Brittany gave him the eye. I would hunt her with the Labs, she would find the far birds and the labs would find birds closer.

Jonathon I’d like to think you were really confused as why on a paid hunt you were even asked to touch a bird…
