What are you hunting/fishing?

My youngest son and I got a day of muzzleloader in yesterday. Because of his job, he has only been able to hunt 2 days this year and this was definitely the end of the season for him. I let several small doe walk in the morning since my freezer is about at capacity and I was counting on him getting one. He took a buck in the afternoon, so I’m doing another freezer purge tonight to make room. At least its well below freezing outside and I can use coolers while figuring it out.
GWG8541 muzzleloader hunting is my favorite. Another deer to help fill the freezer.

Saturday was a good day out on the lake with my son and some friends
No action on the jigs, but our group was able to take home 9 northern off the tip ups.
Ridley Acres that smile says it all. Tip up fishing is a blast! When I was in high school it was a contact sport racing each other to the flag! I miss those days.

FINALLY! My son and I finally got to go out on hardwater and do some fishing. We caught about a hundred small perch with no keepers and 7 walleye with 1 keeper. It was just fun to get out!

zbigjeff it was! It was nice out yesterday which helps. It was 25 degrees. I have been in them with -30 wind chill and was able to be comfortable as well. You do go through a lot of propane though!

lkrfletcher never been to Colorado, but my wife and I are planning a trip out there late summer or early fall. Just got our book in the mail a few weeks ago from the tourist dept. We are going to try and stay away from big cities. We are more back roads away from tons of people folks

YooperDog yep for sure. I can’t believe he is 12 already. He is our youngest but it seems like we just brought him home from the hospital not that long ago. Time sure does fly by!
