I have started to enjoy cold smoking venison backstrap and pork tenderloins. I did this a few weeks ago, kept the temp around 200° and cooked the venison to 130°. Then I put it in the chill chest for a few hours before serving.

@dennyo I was just trying to upload a pic from my phone, so it wasn’t anything crazy from a high end camera. Oh well, as long as everyone can see my links to the grams will be ok.

HerbcoFood The picture sizes on most phones these days are just too large. I normally take the pic and “open up” with “paint” and reduce size to 50% on a pc. Then, I don’t get at error. Just sayin’.

@dennyo you can screenshot your picture and then they will usually post from your phone. That is what I always do now.

HerbcoFood I’m running Win 10 and it still shows. On your phone you can install these apps to perform the size reducing: Image Size App; Photo Compress 2.0; Photo and Picture Resizer; Resize Me. Since I have access to a pc, I do it via Paint. But, the apps I mention for phones do it very well.
