Lol, I went and found starlink and it didn’t look like that. Visitors!
edit it was starlink, found a similar picture to mine taken with a real camera. Still, one of the most dramatic things I have ever seen! So, in some way it WAS aliens, as Elon isn’t from planet earth.

Jonathon lol, yes i have not seen them personally but i know friends that have and said it was quite the sight. Nothing like throwing more orbital space debris up there. Elon sure has done some amazing things, thinking i should jump on his satellite financial stocks. I got a feeling its gonna boom.

johnsbrewhouse So, they didn’t look like that, they appeared far closer to the earth and farther apart than they do in that video. I am not joking when I say they basically went from horizon to horizon, I would estimate there were 10-15 of them?

However, it was 4 am, I ws still sleepy and it was a shock, so my memory probably is already scrambled!

processhead lol, I just changed it to something more reasonable!

Has anyone ever seen this? Hard to tell but lights in a straight line at first. By the time I got back to my camera and got a pic halfway across the sky. Illntry to clear it up in light room at work.

These were seen by many people here in Payson, AZ. Although I personally didn’t see it.

broknaxl Good to hear from Payson. I remember the good old days in Payson when we would visit & nothing was there back in the 60s. It was literally pristine then. You could drink water straight from the lake or pools along the stream. We have not been there in over 40 years now, unfortunately. I still stay in touch occasionally with someone I know there & I understand it is a different world there now (like everywhere else it seems too). It is good to hear from someone in the Payson area with all the fond memories.

Wish I could have seen that being an amateur astronomer. Satellite’s are hard to find with the naked eye and not typically that bright. Very cool!

PapaSop Today @The-Fridge-Raider told me he saw them last night too. I saw them at 4:30 am and he saw them at 9:30 pm…wonder if they came all the way around or if there are more than 1 strong of them?

I saw them (about 10 or so) last year late November or early December, they were easily visible with the naked eye… I thought my eyes were fooling me until I did a little research. If I remember correctly, there will be more added to extend the range.
