Wish I could have seen that being an amateur astronomer. Satellite’s are hard to find with the naked eye and not typically that bright. Very cool!

I remember the good old days in Payson when we would visit & nothing was there back in the 60s. It was literally pristine then. You could drink water straight from the lake or pools along the stream. We have not been there in over 40 years now, unfortunately. I still stay in touch occasionally with someone I know there & I understand it is a different world there now (like everywhere else it seems too). It is good to hear from someone in the Payson area with all the fond memories.

I am not joking when I say they basically went from horizon to horizon, I would estimate there were 10-15 of them?

However, it was 4 am, I ws still sleepy and it was a shock, so my memory probably is already scrambled!

Nothing like throwing more orbital space debris up there. Elon sure has done some amazing things, thinking i should jump on his satellite financial stocks. I got a feeling its gonna boom.

edit it was starlink, found a similar picture to mine taken with a real camera. Still, one of the most dramatic things I have ever seen! So, in some way it WAS aliens, as Elon isn’t from planet earth.
