Meatgistics Podcast: Lost Episode
Each week, Jon and Austin break out and critique a new beer and different sausage while they discuss everything about meat. Follow along as they talk about their favorite recipes and share some of the best expert tips and tricks for making sausage and jerky. Stay up to date on the latest news and current trends in the meat industry as Jon and Austin explore everything related to meat and more.

Beautiful Beverages
Jon drinks a great Oak-Aged Trappist from Knoninshoeven Brewery, one of the few that can really use the “Authentic Trappist Product” label. Austin paid a decent amount of money for this beer and it was worth every penny! One of the best I have ever had.
Austin drank the Pompei from Toppling Goliath. Decent IPA with too many citrus notes.
Mystery Meat
Since we didn’t do one on this episode I think I should get the point and it should be tied 1-1, if Austin doesn’t comment NO in the next 24 hours I am claiming the point!
Customer Corner
We talked about favorite seasonings and why I am sure I would like @Retired-RailRoader if we ever met.
Meat Matters
- We talked about Smithfield farms closing a Sioux Falls plant and how that was going to cause a shortage of 130 million servings of pork a week!
- Foster Farms donated more than 2 million meals to families in need.
Wrap Up
So, this was an interesting one that we were not planning on releasing. It was actually the 2nd podcast we recorded but didn’t like the audio or the flow of it. However, we ran into some technical difficulties with a remote podcast we were trying to do and since this one was already in the books we are letting you guys listen/watch!
