    Morning all
Trying to understand the conversion chart
For Willies snack sticks is that just the seasoning or do I have to add pink salt?
And the same for all bags of seasonings
    Thank you in advance

Chucktheanchorman Willie’s like all of the snack sticks/summer sausage and jerky seasonings will require and include the sure cure.

        ½ cup, 4 tbsp and 1 tsp (5.4 oz)
        This is for 5 lbs.
What part of this is the cure?

Chucktheanchorman Do you have a digital scale? That would be the most accurate. 1.12 grams per pound. Below is the volume measurement for 1 and 5 lb batches

            Yes thanks
Didn’t know if the bag had it mixed in or had to be added
And do all their seasoning have to have additional #1 salt added or do some come with it

Chucktheanchorman the sure cure is considered a #1 salt so it’s interchangeable.

The Sure cure is in a separate small bag and there’s a conversion chart for the seasonings, cure and additives on this site.

Chucktheanchorman and Joe Hell and everyone else! We will have some new scales, hopefully pretty soon that are reasonably priced and will measure in the fractions of the grams. That is what is really needed when we are talking about measuring out additives. I have thought of taking that down more than a time or two but I guess it is better to give people a reference even if it is very difficult for them to get the accurate amount.
