Trying to upload a pic and keeps saying error after it hits 100%. Anyone with same issue

Speaking of issues. For the last few weeks any time I’m at the Meatgistics site I get pop up notifications that I’ve lost connection and is trying to reconnect. This is only here and with my phone or laptop. No issues on any other site. Doesn’t matter which wifi I’m on. Also no issues with waltonsinc. -

I get that message a lot too. Just got it reading this thread -
Austin has increased the limit again on image size. Someone here said it earlier but Iphones allow the option to resize before posting and if you choose medium or large it should be fine. I just tested and if you choose to do the full size, which in my test case was 4.5 MB it wouldnt work, but if I chose large it worked no problem. I am going to do some testing with our google phone as well and I will update this post.
But for Iphone users as you post, look at the bottom of your screen and you will see text that size “Choose Image Size” and you can select Large, Medium or Small but not actual size.

Alright I just tested on an android and with files under 4 mb it works fine, it will not allow pics larger than 4 mb from an android. I don’t see the option to change the size of the photo when uploading from an android phone, or at least a google pixel.
Okay, I tested this on a Galaxy s10 and it has the same issue. Below 4 mb are no issue, above and it won’t work. So you will have to resize photos on your phone to under 4 mb before posting them to meatgistics. In the meantime and perfectly acceptable work around is to email them to jonathon@waltonsinc.com and include a link to the post you want to add them to and I will post it for you right away!

Alright I just tested on an android and with files under 4 mb it works fine, it will not allow pics larger than 4 mb from an android. I don’t see the option to change the size of the photo when uploading from an android phone, or at least a google pixel.
Okay, I tested this on a Galaxy s10 and it has the same issue. Below 4 mb are no issue, above and it won’t work. So you will have to resize photos on your phone to under 4 mb before posting them to meatgistics. In the meantime and perfectly acceptable work around is to email them to jonathon@waltonsinc.com and include a link to the post you want to add them to and I will post it for you right away!

Probably not a bad time to just make a quick point and say if you are having issues with something on meatgistics or even waltonsinc.com to a certain extent please don’t let it fester or annoy you and certainly dont let it stop you from using the site or posting! Let us know, Austin is very good at the tech side and I am sure I have some value too, though what that might be is still a mystery…
