zbigjeff thanks! It will be a blast. I don’t know what I’m more excited about. The fishing, the scenery, or seeing these guys again.

So this coming Saturday I will be flying to Alaska for a fishing/sightseeing trip to Alaska. It is a trip with guys I played college football with. Some, I haven’t seen since 1997! Four guys from the starting offensive line are going and four defensive line guys are going along with our head coach who was also my O-line coach. We were a pretty tight group who all rode on the same bus for at least two seasons together. It will be an amazing trip. The O-line pictured had two Alaskans on the left, a Canadian in the middle, and two ND boys on the right (me in the solid red coat with the cheesy mustache and mullet). Words can’t even express how much I am looking forward to this trip!!! The guy in the far left in the picture is a fishing guide and he lined up the trip. He was even able to swing a deal to get us all booked at a 50% discount!!! We will fish for Halibut on the ocean and salmon in Kasilof River and possible the Kenai River. We will also be doing the Kenai Fjords tour. I can’t wait!

Tex_77 small NAIA school called Valley City State University. They are usually pretty tough in their conference and have made National Playoffs quite a few times.

ND Mike I played at NDSSS many years ago, we were in the conference with Valley City, we were a juco playing mostly four year schools in the conference. My freshman year we finished second to Valley City.

bocephus VCSC was really good in those years. They had an all-american linebacker that later became my first O-line coach. He is still there coaching today!
