Update to garden

tarp that is some beautiful harvest you have there. Way ahead of me. I’ve been eating lettuce spinach onions and radishes. But the rest is looking good. My corn squash cucumbers and okra just came up but looks like I’m going to have a good stand.

-
Good thing I have not put plants out yet, woke up this morning with frost all over the ground and 32 degrees. Thought we might get cold this week again, so I resisted planting, maybe later this week when the temperatures look better.

A new addition to my garden. My neighbor ordered asparagus roots after having dinner at our house. He ordered way too many and wanted to know if I could use them. Well I’m not a dummy
.
It’s a tite fit but the English peas will be over with before the asparagus roots need more room. -

I wish I could get my garden in but I never plant until june 1st. Not worth taking the chance of frost up here in northern Wisconsin

kyle Know how that can be, our last chance of frost is mid May even being 100 miles from the Pacific coast, but they are still getting snow in the mountains right now. I think we might be safe planting this coming week, going to try if the rain lets up for a day or two. The beds are all done.

johnsbrewhouse send me a little of that rain. Starting to get a little dry here. I’ll have to water on my next day off.

cdavis We have had our share the last month, the snow pack went from 80% of normal to over 125% of normal now. Good to have that in the mountains for electricity for hydro power and irrigation. Hard to get anything done when it downpours here, we are use to light rains and working in them.

johnsbrewhouse hopefully it will dry up long enough to get your garden in. Good luck

cdavis Got the tomatoes and pepper plants in today. Got surprised with some sun and warmth, but we have had some black clouds hanging around all day. I know as soon as I start planting green beans it will dump on me.
