Good to have that in the mountains for electricity for hydro power and irrigation. Hard to get anything done when it downpours here, we are use to light rains and working in them.

I think we might be safe planting this coming week, going to try if the rain lets up for a day or two. The beds are all done.

My neighbor ordered asparagus roots after having dinner at our house. He ordered way too many and wanted to know if I could use them. I might be able to plant this week. It was 40 degrees this morning here. My garden is pretty much ready for plant with the exception of the compost bin which will need some attention since the chickweed found its way in. The pumpkins and squashes will take care of it once they get started in the compost.
