One of the things we talked about doing more of was an evening livestream/processstream where we would take suggestions on what to make, then do a live stream about it, so people could get questions ready and join in at home if they wanted. Doing it later in the evening makes it so more people can watch or interact, and planning it out a little means we might be able to coordinate what we are making/drinking as we go.

So, few questions, in general Wednesday evenings work really well for me and 5:30 pm (CST) seems like a pretty good time to start. We need:

    • A name (Latenight Livestreaming sounds too suspect) I like Process Stream but it needs to be something that indicates it will be outside of normal hours
    • We need a way for people to make suggestions on what we make ahead of time
    • A set day of the week and which week out of the month it will be
    • I am sure there are a bunch of other things we are needing that I am not thinking of, so we need a list of things I haven’t thought of yet!

So, let the ideas rip, just spitballing here so let us know your ideas!

Jonathon I think the first or the last week of the month, it’s just easier to remember for me at least and any day but a friday. Is there a way you can see what day meatgistics has the most traffic on it? As far as a name, AFTER HOURS KITCHEN WITH JONATHON

hey vegetarians, my food poops on your food!

Jonathon what a great idea. I love watching the podcasts, and I love the Meatgistics university how to videos too-- this seems like it would combine the great parts of both. I especially like the idea of seeing how long it all goes in real time.

Your normal posts seem to get a lot of visibility quickly, maybe if you made it another standing topic under Meat U folks would be sure to know it was your special livestream? kyle had a good name, or Jonathon’s (or Walton’s ) Evening Kitchen Livestream? Don’t know you’d have to indicate it was late, since most all Livestreams I’ve seen are after work in the evenings so the audience is done work and can watch.
Great idea, you guys just keep improving, can’t wait to watch.

Wednesday’s work here. Week of the month doesn’t matter. As far as a name…

“Cocktail stream” sounds good, oh wait, already been there for awhile. 😉🥃🤔😂🍻

Seriously, sounds like a lot of extra work on your part.
How about a campfire, drinks and we just share some processing BS?

Jonathon Of course 5:30 pm CST is mid-day here but it would work, I could view it while making dinner for the wife. It’s hell being a house-husband all the time.
