JoeB I cannot blame them. I’d be right there. Hopefully they bring a side, or even better, a tasty beer.

Prime rib cooked on the Treager and Twice Baked Potato casserole. I had planned on doing this on thr fire pit, but the good ol’ Kansas wind wasn’t wanting to cooperate with that plan. I also used Onion Blossom Horseradish Dip in place of a traditional Horseradish sauce and it was amazing!

JoeB what a feast that looks. Makes me wonder which sausage was the most popular… as soon as I saw bocks, I know which I’d pick! I haven’t made them, but now I want to!

JoeB kyle On Easter Sunday, I learned my nephews daughter of 8 years old has decided she is now one of the many types of vegetarians. The one that apparently eats fish and eggs etc… not sure how that is vegetarian, but anyway, after hearing the rhetoric from her mother trying to justify her position, kyle signature popped in my head and I simply replied with “Guess what, my food poops on your food”. She had to think about it a minute, but said “that’s gross”. I replied with a sincere “exactly”. She used to be my favorite grand niece. Oh well. 😁

Working on my smoked meatloaf, just put it in the smoker to firm up before I pop it out of the loaf pan and put it on the flat sheet to finish. Should be ready in 3 or so hours. Pictures to follow hopefully. IMG_0400.JPG IMG_0399.JPG Added some smoked cheddar to the top just before I pulled it from the smoker and had some mushrooms in the fridge that needed to be used, so I threw them on the pan while the meatloaf smoked too. The wife won’t eat mushrooms, more for me. Especially good when cooked in beef fat from the meatloaf.

I haven’t had a good hamburger in a while, so tonight we had hand cut French fries seasoned lightly with Old Bay seasoning and fried in the CI skillet. The burgers were also done in the same CI and were just seasoned with SPG and were about 6 oz each patty. I added some smoked cheddar cheese and man were they tasty.
