    Meatgistics Podcast: Stay in School

Go from Animal to Edible with the Meatgistics Podcast presented by Walton’s Inc. In each episode, Jon and Austin talk about their favorite recipes and share some expert tips and tricks for making sausage, jerky, and snacksticks. Listen in as they have in-depth conversations with meat industry professionals and outdoor/hunting enthusiasts. Stay up to date on the latest news and current trends in the meat industry as we explore everything related to meat and more.

    What we talked about:

Listen along as Jon tries out a raw meat diet, for the episode at least. He consumes three different raw proteins and gives a full report on his instant reaction and his feelings the next day. Plus, some pretty exciting meat matters topics to round it out. I hope you enjoy it as much as Jon did!

Totally worth driving to Montana so you can take in the scenery.

Austin I don’t trust anyone to pick out my fresh foods. Also at the same time you shouldn’t be allowed to take a whole family 5 of to shop at peak times of the day!

processhead The drive will be super scenic! I don’t want to spend that much time in the truck, but the drive itself will be beautiful

HerbcoFood Thinking more on that, I don’t mind if someone picks out the fruit/veggies, but I honestly don’t eat a lot of fruit and veggies. I would not want someone picking out fresh meat for me though. I’ll get a little pickier on the meat selection, but fruits and veggies I’ll live with it.

            Austin why Edge over Chrome?

Tex_77 Because it is linked to Microsoft and almost everything we do here is Microsoft based. I want people signed in to their browser here with a waltons.com account. When you use Chrome, you have to do a gmail account and I don’t want that.

Austin Edge is terrible and Microsoft anymore has turned to a fee based product. They nickel and dime you for everything anymore. I refuse to pay for a subscription for a product and not receive a hard copy of the program. Chrome browser is much more stable and less susceptible to intrusion. I live only 60 miles from Microsoft’s headquarters and become less and less a fan of MS products.

johnsbrewhouse old edge was trash but the new edge is based off chromium, same thing as chrome. Really not bad. Not as bloated with extras like chrome so it seems a touch faster.
Personally, I’d use Google stuff, but for business stuff we are too tied into Microsoft. The nickel and dimes they squeeze isn’t fun but it works best for what we do.

Austin lack of fruits and veggies, perhaps the reason why you are having back issues….not enough nutrition. Haha. I don’t eat any of it and my neck, back and hips kill me everyday, ibuprofen is my candy….lol

Austin this is spot on, the new Edge is chromium based and probably the top browser out there from a security standpoint.
