Jonathon really no recipe just like your Grandma. Made some noodles, saved a couple of cups of the cooking liquid. 1 onion sliced thin, think 3 cloves of garlic were thin sliced, cooking adult beverages starting to kick in, thin sliced ( ACCROSS THE GRAIN) some leftover smoked tri tip & made stroganoff sauce with 1/2 & 1/2 instead of whole cream. The rest is just a gastronomic memory.
