so I know you can use any container for sous vide, but I found this on amazon and had to try it. plastic bin that comes with a silicon lid and a neoprene “blanket” to help hold the heat. It also comes with a adjustable rack inside to hold the bags. Doing some chicken breast in it for the first time and so far I am sold on it.

hey vegetarians, my food poops on your food!

kyle i have one very similar but no racks with it. The lid is great fir water retention on long cooks.

Tex_77 I like the rack. It is very adjustable and no need for clips to hold the bag if using ziplocks.

bocephus its 12 quart. 12" long x 10’’ wide x 8" deep. the rack that goes inside is adjustable up to 7 separate slots or you don’t have to use the rack

I’ve seen those before and I am torn between it or a dedicated cooler with a cutout for the unit

Dr_Pain I’m going to still make a cooler, bit for doing smaller amounts for a meal, I thought the “bin” would be easier. I can store it in the kitchen. I want a cooler for big meat projects like summer sausage and sticks
