Snack sticks

Im currently making two 25lb batches of snack sticks with high temp cheese. Is the cheese added into my final weight or at the end will i have 27.5lbs? Im assuming the cheese is not included

if you are using a commercial snack stick mix its formulated for 25 lbs of MEAT … adding cheese will be extra final weight

twilliams I always do it as DeerSlayer said, but there are some people who add the seasoning, additives and even the water into there batch size. I only recommend this if you think a previous batch you have made was good but needed a stronger taste to it, 95% of the time factoring just your meat in is the correct move for a home processor.
