Any substitute for the maple syrup? I really don’t like maple flavor on anything but pancakes.

Grimpuppy I make my own Q sauces and you could use either honey or molasses to replace it. It all according to the flavor profile your after.

That recipe sounds really good and easily made spicy or milder without troubles.

kyle thats whats my sauce has in it as well. Ill play with amounts occasionally and the ingredients definitely matter. I’ve been using Muddy Pond molasses from Tennessee and really like it. Im using my own honey, but if I’m buying, I really like sSourwood and Tupelo honey from the southern states.

I ran out of sauce last weekend and will be making a batch this weekend. After all this good input I am gonna try honey instead of maple syrup. Thanks guys!

RON PARRISH I’ve been putting this stuff on everything from eggs to fish sticks. Haven’t found anything it’s not good on yet!
