I don’t remember if I got a manual but it seems like there wasn’t much info that came with it. I’d highly recommend taking picture as you disassemble the first time and be really careful not to lose the springs…like I did. These videos should help!

So this is assembled ready to go? The washer/o-rings in separate bag are spares? -
PapaSop I would also suggest adding the replacement springs to your next shopping cart. Better safe than sorry!

PapaSop what Joe Hell says about the extra spring is absolutely correct, highly recommended. Also, not getting enough Pa’s Black Bull on your first go-round is totally understandable, better to have to order again than be stuck with a large amount in the unlikely scenario that you dont end up liking it! Here is a breakdown of the injector.

I have two of the units, and neither one came with any instructions. I did find some information on their web site which had a parts breakdown and assembly picture. I also found out extra springs can be purchased, they are small, pop out easy and very easy to loose. I love my both of my injectors they are extremely handy and easy to use. I think they are originally manufactured for something else, and re purposed for cooking. that don’t matter to me though.

After initial cleaning it reminded back when I used to rebuild automobile carburetors. Blew some air through the small orifices. Did not want an air/fluid lock in there. Just habit. OMG I’m old. LOL.

PapaSop lol. Funny you say that. I’m terrible at rebuilding carburetors and I lost parts on the injector the first time I used it.

Actually went to garage looking for a small screen to attach to dish pan to hold small parts. Even put plug in drain so not lose anything. How anal is that?
Didn’t lose one piece. If this white stuff stops falling will try it out this weekend. -

PapaSop I just got my injector yesterday and just watched the video on the take down an assemble. I’m going to use a fine mesh strainer to put all of the parts in while they and get rinsed off

Great idea. Actually just reassembled mine after drying overnight. C’mon weekend. -
Just realized this during reassembly. The two O-rings on the manifold are different. The smaller one goes on the draw tube piece. Larger on output piece. Diagram looks like same size (part 6). Checked the spare parts and definitely different. Am I seeing things? Had them reversed at first and didn’t look right.

PapaSop I don’t think you are seeing things but I also don’t think they are technically different sizes. I think they start out the same size and then because of how the seal that goes up near the needle is used it reshapes itself and appear thinner. I stacked the seals ontop of eachother and looked through the center and did not see any difference but you could see one still had a slightly larger outside diameter.

Drseibert I’ve never done that but now I think I might start recommending it. The one I took apart earlier today to compare the o-rings were a little rough. At the bare minimum, it isn’t going to hurt!

Yep. I see that now as well. Could be just a manufacturing thing. I will still reinstall to the piece they came off of since it’s formed to that. Drseibert . I thought about rubbing a little white oil on those rings during assembly and will do that from now on. Won’t hurt them. Joe Hell . Get those rings in dude.
