Big boy in my small pond!

This is the problem with fishing by yourself, pics are hard to Get! 22.5 inches and 6.3 lb in a 3-4 acre pond!Jonathon nice looking bass, I bet he put on a good fight. Did you use a top water or a live bait? Did you put him back for another day?

Yeah, my pond is release only. Not because I don’t eat fish but because exactly what you guys have all said, catch him again! i am pretty sure this is a fish I caught once when she was heavier and weighed 7 lb. It’s funny how light all the bass in my pond are because of the muddy water.
The funny thing is that I had caught a top ten fish on that pond the cast JUST before. I was using a Blue Gill Rattle Trap 3/4 oz

It is a shame that if I somehow got my hands on a dinosaur, my first thought would probably be if I can eat it or not…or maybe that’s not a shame. If I handed it over to scientists, or worse the government we’d be over run by allasurs in months!

Jonathon the FWS and PETA would lock down your area and you and your neighbors would be relocated to create an protected area for the endangered species. So keep it on the down low. Just sayin’.

Jonathon nice crappie. My daughter caught her 2 best crappie the other day. She made me keep them separate from the rest of the fish. She ate both of them and wasn’t about to share. She was pretty proud of them.
