YooperDog Yes, a loader bucket makes a great mobile meat pole.

I have a name for every deer I have taken and chicken foot is very appropriate.

AdamCA pretty cool mount. I also had a struggle with a deer this year. I was by myself and my pickup is quite high in the air (3/4 ton Ram Megacab). I struggled to get the buck loaded in the back. He was quite large and I am no small man nor wimp…lol! Age must be catching up to me. I am going to have ramps and a winch next time.

I have one of these that my cousin makes and it works to load deer alone or haul in hunting gear. The video is old and they have made several improvements, plus he is an old North Dakota boy, from New Leipzig.

Spidey sweet! I didn’t even know about these! I might just have to invest in one of these. I’m actually not that far from New Leipzig.

Spidey can you check and see if he is still making these? The website isn’t there anymore.

He moved to Shakopee, MN a few years ago from Dickinson after he retired. The one I have has wheels on it like a game cart that retract when you slide it in. I will check with him and get back to you.

@ndmike I bought a winch that goes into the hitch before the season last year and glad I did. I have a Titan XD Pro 4 X and there is just no way I would’ve gotten that deer in the bed without it. I’ve had two spinal fusion so I have to work smarter vs harder some times.
