Austrian/Tyrolean Sausage and Cured Meats
-
I recently stumbled on this pamphlet that we had picked up on a trip to Austria a few years ago. The pamphlet is in German which I do not read or speak all that well. I did translate the title Werde Tyoler, which means “Become Tyrolean”
The company specializes in a style of cured meat products unique to that mountainous region of Austria.
I went to their web site and got the English version which tells all about the company and their products. I thought it was pretty interesting since my Grandpa was a sausage maker and was born and lived in Austria during the early part of the last century.
Hope you enjoy the web site too.[link text]https://www.handltyrol.com/products/tiroler-speck-pgi(link url)
