Stop the emails

I believe what you need to do is, click on the profile circle in the upper right hand corner, then click on settings. Then on the settings page scroll down to email on the left handed side, and change your email setting to off. I think doing that will stop most of the emails.

Yup, djtcds Go to your main page then unsubscribe from categories. It wont be green if you are already subscribed, so your will be yellow and say unsubscribe. That and then below that is a shot of my settings, this way I get only notifications on what I am following.
