Thanks Fat_Bob. i have the torn tee-shirt to prove it. I see you’re into canning. Do you have a recipe for canned unrefrigerated Pickled Eggs?

JoeB No, eggs are tricky. Too easy to make people sick. I just store pickled duck eggs by the gallon in my beer fridg. Those two things in life deserve to be stored together.🍺 🦆 👍

It’s all about the duck fat.

Fat_BoB, Got to say that I’ve traveled all over this world in my 72years, but duck eggs in beer is a 1st for me… I have eaten almost hatched duck eggs, boiled in soup. South Korea w/fish heads😊 Upper state- Western NY (Buffalo). In every corner tavern would be a big 2gal clear jug with brine / vinegar, with hard boiled eggs. a dime each each. If you wanted one on a snowy day the bartender would reach in with is hand and fish out for ya 😁 And you’re spot on that’s a tricky can, But you can buy them jarred and pickled

Oh I understand Joe. Balut was a favorite in the Philippines when I was there in the 70’s. Beaks were a little tough though. LOL I know the eggs are in the bars, ate many of them. I just don’t know how they process them to keep them safe. Never have found a good recipe to make them that was any good. 😞

I have 10 🦆 and get 9 or 10 eggs everyday. LOL White Layers from Metzer Farms is where I get them.

JoeB I use to save up my leave, USN, and take it there 30 days at a time. That was darn near enough to kill a guy. Had lots of friends there and… 🙂

That would be great Jonathon. I’m no slouch with a computer and apps but discovery learning is a waste of time. Discovery learning Disdain has a direct proportion to one’s age, and I’m old😣
