PK 100: Indoors or out
-
Looking at possibly getting a PK 100 in the near future. Wondering if everyone keeps their’s outside or inside and pipes the exhaust out?

Mine is outside. I bought a good cover for it.

I would have done it differently but nontheless looks like a nice spot to do all your processing

Looks like a sharp operation, love the artwork on the wall! Just converted my smoker to natural gas 2 years ago and built the hood this year for my 30 year old smoker. 883E81A0-3D83-4BC2-B2F7-71A5A8484D53.jpeg

I would have bought one but I could not find one that was deep enough for a reasonable price and I already had a fan. Some day I will permanently duct it but for the time being I just open up the window and place the flexible duct outside.

I have the FEC-100 Fast Eddy by Cookshack set up inside my metal building (garage) and cut a hole in the wall to run my exhaust out then added pipe to run the exhaust up past the roof line for better draft.
When I built the shop (2012) I added double man doors on one side so I could roll it out to use but quickly got tired of doing that.
